Who We Are
Bennett Design Associates is an award-winning Interior Design firm and industry leader in Workplace Strategy. As one of Toronto’s largest fully independent Interior Design firms, we capably deliver corporate and retail spaces right across Canada.
We care about people, the world around us, and have a strong culture of teamwork, community and delivering excellence. We know we can make a difference every day and are proud of the firm we have built and with the projects that our clients have entrusted to our expertise.
When designing corporate offices, we are intent on understanding our clients’ businesses, culture and people and have created a customizable proprietary software, d.i.g.™ Workplace Strategy, to uncover the critical information required to design unique, data-driven solutions. The information we gather provides you with the knowledge and metrics needed to guide your design decisions and articulate your corporate culture to support the future direction of your firm and the needs of your people. We are passionate about understanding the future of business and space so you don’t have to work like you did yesterday.
Our retail design team expertly delivers comprehensive turn-key service from the initial concept phase through to final project close-out. Whether designing a single flagship location or a large national roll-out, we work alongside start-ups and national brands to creatively enhance the customer experience. Through the development of unique and replicable design standards and comprehensive graphic and branding packages, we have the ability to execute the programming and project manage the construction of multiple locations across the country.
At Bennett Design, we are singularly focused and proud that our core business is the strategy, design and execution of interior space.

Land Acknowledgement
Bennett Design’s head office is currently located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange among the Mississauga Peoples, and is the traditional and treaty territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation and all the territories covered under the Williams Treaties. Durham Region is now home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. Together with our entire Canadian team, we collectively recognize that we are accountable to respectful relationships with Indigenous communities and that accountability involves all of us listening, learning, and reflecting on the historic and ongoing injustices in the communities in which we operate and serve our Clients.
Diversity and Inclusion Statement
At Bennett Design we strive to think bigger. We pride ourselves on our business-driven approach to space solutions. Through the data we collect, we provide a comprehensive roadmap that allows you to realize the vision for your space based on your strategic business drivers, leadership direction, departmental and individual needs, as well as capturing and celebrating your unique culture. Projects today aren’t just about space. They are about business and how we will be working tomorrow. We marry your strategic business planning with a defensible space solution and examine the future of work and how technology, mobility and leadership will disrupt and change the way we currently do business.
Giving Back
Bennett Design believes in designing for a better future—not just in workplaces, but in our communities. We proudly support charities that align with our values, fostering sustainability, well-being, and positive change. By giving back, we help shape a world that’s as innovative, adaptive, and people-centered as the spaces we create.
In July 2023, a member of our Bennett Design family lost her father to suicide. His passing, like so many others, underscored the urgent need for better mental health support in Canada. With over 4,000 Canadians lost to suicide each year and mental health care critically underfunded, we knew we couldn’t stay still.
We created Step It Up for Mental Health—an active, accessible way to raise funds for CAMH and bring much-needed change.
Over the last 70 years, Compassion revolutionized the fight against global poverty by partnering with local churches to meet the unique and urgent needs of children living in poverty.
Today, Compassion partners with over 8,000 local churches in 29 countries to deliver our proven holistic child development program to more than 2 million infants, children and youth. Around the world, children, families and entire communities are being empowered to overcome poverty and thrive both now and into the future. LEARN MORE
